The Alluring Vision
Allure-classic-hallPrior to its first wedding in May 2009, The Allure was truly a labor of love. Four years was dedicated to demolishing, rebuilding and restoring what was previously the “Old Eagles Building” into one of the most popular, enchanting wedding venues in Northern Indiana. It was LaPorte’s unique, central location, along with it’s downtown architecture, that led to the purchase this historic building. Situated a short distance east of Notre Dame and west of Chicago, The Allure sits perfectly positioned to accommodate a wide range of clients with all of their wedding and event needs. The wedding and event center has an influence on the economic atmosphere of the area. The Allure has proudly established professional relationships with several local businesses, restaurants and hotels. These vendors have expressed their appreciation to The Allure for the bridge it has created in welcoming out-of-town visitors to come explore and experience LaPorte County. Chicago couples, their friends and families now return to visit LaPorte’s lakes, stay at Arbor Hill Inn or the Best Western, have drinks at Enzo’s, buy their flowers at Thode’s, and dine at Mucho Mas. The venue has been featured in area magazines such as Wedding Day, Wedding Essentials, and Chicago Style. It is our hope that we would continue to serve as a reminder to the local community that LaPorte is truly a magnificent gem.
